India's T20I group signs off at Seddon Park as the ODI squads assemble in Auckland

Sunday's final Twenty20 international in Hamilton is the last match of the tour for much of India's T20I squad, with the one-day series starting at Eden Park on Wednesday
The fifth and final T20I of India's tour begins at 8pm local time at Seddon Park on Sunday, 12.30pm Indian time, two days after New Zealand ended the series' one-sided run with an 87-run win at Eden Park.
India had already taken the series by winning the first three matches and lead 3-1, so the result in Hamilton decides only the margin.
For a large part of the touring group, though, Sunday is the end of the trip. The squads India have named for the five-match ODI series, which starts in Auckland on Wednesday, leave out eight of the players who have spent the past fortnight in the T20I side.
Who stays and who goes home
Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Shivam Dube, Varun Chakaravarthy, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav are in neither of the two ODI squads.
Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Axar Patel, Naman Dhir, Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav carry straight on into the one-day leg.
Tilak Varma, India's T20I vice-captain, is named for the fourth and fifth ODIs only, and Nitish Kumar Reddy for the first ODI only.
Gill leads the first three, Iyer the last two
India have split the one-day captaincy. Shubman Gill leads in the first three ODIs with Iyer as his vice-captain, and Iyer takes over for the fourth and fifth with Kishan as vice-captain.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are in both squads, neither having played in the T20Is. KL Rahul keeps wicket in the first three matches and Kumar Kushagra is the second wicketkeeper named for the last two.
Rohit was photographed at the India team hotel in Auckland this week, while the T20I group travelled south to Hamilton after the Eden Park match.
Auqib Nabi added to the first three ODIs
The BCCI made a late change to the one-day group on Saturday. "The Men's Selection Committee has added Auqib Nabi to the squad for the first three ODIs against New Zealand," the board said. The Jammu and Kashmir seamer had originally been picked for the fourth and fifth matches only.
He comes in because Prasidh Krishna is out of the entire ODI series with a hamstring injury picked up during India's home series against West Indies.
Prasidh remains in contention for the Test series that follows, and could join India A for the third four-day match against New Zealand A, starting on 7 November, if he passes a fitness assessment.
New Zealand's seamers are already pointed at the ODIs
New Zealand go into the finale without three of their frontline quicks. Lockie Ferguson felt pain in his right calf during the second T20I at Hagley Oval and scans confirmed a low-grade tear, ruling him out of the rest of the T20Is with about another week of recovery to come.
Matt Henry picked up a low-grade tear in his right quadriceps in the same match, with a recovery of one to two weeks, having already been set to sit out the remaining T20Is under a workload plan.
"We're gutted for Lockie and Matt," head coach Rob Walter said when the injuries were confirmed, adding that "injuries are part and parcel of international cricket". On Henry he said "we're hopeful he'll still play a key role in the ODIs".
Kyle Jamieson stayed in Wellington under his own workload plan and was available for a Ford Trophy match on Saturday before rejoining the national squad on Monday. Matthew Fisher, called in as cover during the Wellington leg, has stayed with the side for the rest of the series.
Short boundaries in Hamilton
Seddon Park is among the smaller international grounds in New Zealand, with straight boundaries of roughly 65 metres and square ones not much longer.
The surface is rated a good one for batting, with consistent pace and bounce, and some movement for the seamers early under lights.
The fifth T20I starts at 8pm in Hamilton on Sunday, and the first ODI is at Eden Park on Wednesday.
