This 11-day tournament features 20 T10 matches, with two games scheduled each day. The top three teams at the end of the round-robin stage will qualify for finals on April 17. The second and third-ranked teams will face off in an eliminator, with the winner taking on the top-ranked side in the final later that day.

Each team consists of 12–15 academy players, many of whom are domestically contracted cricketers or up-and-coming talents. One international player — Netherlands captain Scott Edwards — is also participating. The tournament serves as a developmental platform for younger players to gain more game time outside the regular season.

The event is organized by Cricket Victoria (CV), which has been proactive in expanding into the global franchise space, also managing the San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket.
