Shreyas, Prabhsimran, and Chahal knock CSK out of the tournament

Yuzvendra Chahal turned the game on its head with a sensational 19th over, taking four wickets including his second IPL hat-trick, to dismantle Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and propel Punjab Kings (PBKS) to a dramatic four-wicket win at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The collapse, triggered when CSK looked set to breach 200, saw them crash from a commanding position to being bowled out for 190 — losing their last five wickets for just six runs in seven balls.

Sam Curran had earlier powered CSK with a fiery 88 off 47 balls, lifting them to what looked like a match-winning total. But half-centuries from Prabhsimran Singh and Shreyas Iyer steadied PBKS in the chase, before a nerve-jangling finish saw Marco Jansen edge the winning boundary with three balls to spare, eliminating CSK from playoff contention.
