Powered by brilliant centuries from Georgia Redmayne (105) and Grace Harris (111), Queensland posted an imposing 332 for 7 in the final at Cricket Central. Redmayne’s innings marked her fourth century of the season, underlining her consistency, while Harris provided explosive support with a commanding knock.
In reply, NSW mounted a strong chase, led by Healy’s fluent 64 in her final professional appearance and a composed 76 from Tahlia Wilson. At 129 for 1, the Breakers appeared well on track and were ahead on the DLS calculation when rain halted play.
However, the interruption shifted momentum. Chasing a revised target of 220, NSW needed 91 from nine overs upon resumption, a steep ask after a lengthy delay. Queensland seized the moment, with Jess Jonassen producing a decisive spell—contributing to key run-outs and delivering a composed final over.
The dismissals of Wilson and Katie Mack proved crucial as NSW’s chase faltered under pressure. Jonassen then helped seal victory by running out Maitlan Brown in the closing moments.
