Namibia Choose to Bowl as Zimbabwe Bring in Masakadza for Cremer

Namibia won the toss and elected to bowl first against Zimbabwe in the latest match of the T20I tri-series in Windhoek.

Zimbabwe had made a promising start against South Africa, reaching 76 for 1 after 10 overs, but were unable to maintain the momentum and eventually suffered a heavy defeat. Dion Myers, Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl will be key to Zimbabwe's hopes of putting up a competitive total after being asked to bat first.

Namibia have opted for a pace-heavy attack at a venue offering good bounce. Ruben Trumpelmann, JJ Smit, Jack Brassell and Max Heingo form the four-pronged seam attack, while Bernard Scholtz and captain Gerhard Erasmus provide the spin options.

The match is the 17th T20I meeting between the two sides. Namibia hold a narrow advantage in the head-to-head record, with eight wins compared with Zimbabwe's seven, while one match has ended without a result.

Namibia will hope their unchanged combination can deliver another strong performance, while Zimbabwe will look to Masakadza to provide greater control with the ball and help them bounce back from their opening defeat.
