In a landmark achievement, Rahul became the first batter to score IPL centuries for three different franchises—Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and now Delhi Capitals.

Despite a sluggish start—DC crawled to 28 for 1 after five overs—Rahul’s calculated acceleration shifted the game’s momentum. He took charge in the final over of the powerplay, hammering Kagiso Rabada for two sixes and a four, while also completing 8000 T20 runs, becoming the third-fastest to the mark after Chris Gayle and Babar Azam.
