Karachi Kings handed Multan Sultans a heavy 87-run defeat in Lahore, effectively knocking them out of a tournament they never truly found their footing in. Despite the match being relocated from Multan to Lahore — a move Sultans had opposed — home advantage would have done little to bridge the chasm in quality between the two sides. But the partnership between Vince and Irfan Khan steadied Karachi. The duo added 78 off 56 deliveries, capitalising on a tired Sultans side wilting in the Lahore heat.
