India Women seek a clean sweep in Vadodara as Zimbabwe look for a first win of the tour

Wednesday's third ODI at Kotambi Stadium is Zimbabwe's last chance to avoid losing all six matches of their tour of India

India have already taken the three-match ODI series, winning the first by nine wickets and the second by 121 runs, and they swept the three T20Is that preceded it.

The teams return to the same ground in Vadodara on Wednesday, with the match starting at 2:00 PM IST.

Zimbabwe have not passed 207 in either ODI and were held to 114, 102 and 124 in the T20Is.

A record stand in the second ODI

India were 19 for 2 inside three overs on Sunday before Harmanpreet Kaur made 126 from 121 balls with 15 fours, her eighth ODI hundred, having been dropped three times.

Deepti Sharma finished unbeaten on 106 from 86 balls, reaching her hundred in 83 deliveries for her second in ODI cricket and her first at home.

Their fifth-wicket stand of 153 from 137 balls is India's highest for the wicket in women's one-day internationals. Pratika Rawal had earlier made 61 from 67 and added 124 with Harmanpreet for the third.

India's 328 for 6 was 128 more than they needed in the first ODI, which they chased down in 27.1 overs. They lost one wicket in that chase and finished it with 22.5 overs unused.

Mandhana leads, Harmanpreet scores

Smriti Mandhana is captaining India in this series, and she has had little to do with the bat in the ODIs, falling for a duck in the second over on Sunday.

Harmanpreet, playing under her, has been the batter of the series, and the selection questions for Wednesday are about how much India choose to rotate rather than who holds the middle order together.

Shafali Verma made 8 in the second ODI and Tejal Hasabnis 3, which leaves the top order with something to settle before the match.

Vaishnavi Sharma's four wickets

India's bowling has given Zimbabwe no period of control. Vaishnavi Sharma returned to the side in place of Kranti Gaud and took 4-39 from her ten overs on Sunday.

Deepti added 3-32 from nine to go with her hundred, and Jintimani Kalita took the last wicket for her first in international cricket.

Zimbabwe were bowled out in both matches, for 197 in 49.5 overs and 207 in 48.5, each time with the required rate already beyond them.

Zimbabwe's search for a partnership

Modester Mupachikwa's 49 from 70 balls was Zimbabwe's best of the second ODI, and her stand of 69 for the third wicket with Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano, who made 46, was their only substantial one.

Nomvelo Sibanda took two wickets as India piled up 328, the most any side has made at the ground in this series.

Zimbabwe are yet to win a match on the tour, in either format. They lost the T20I series 3-0, the last of those matches by 92 runs after India had made 216 for 7.

Their highest total of the tour, 207, came in a chase that was already out of reach, and no Zimbabwe batter has reached fifty in the ODIs.

Kotambi has favoured the bat

The surface has held together across both ODIs, with totals of 197, 200 for 1, 328 for 6 and 207 posted on it in five days.

India have won all five completed matches of the tour, two of them by nine wickets, and have been made to bat out 50 overs only once.

A sixth win would make it a 6-0 tour, and would leave Zimbabwe without a win in India across the T20Is and ODIs.

The third ODI begins at 2:00 PM IST on Wednesday at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
