Bangladesh to Tour Sri Lanka for Full Series Across All Formats in June-July 2025

Bangladesh are set to tour Sri Lanka in June and July 2025 for a full series comprising two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is. The tour marks the beginning of the 2025–27 World Test Championship cycle for both teams, with the Test matches scheduled in Galle and at the SSC in Colombo. The ODI series will feature day-night matches, with the first two games at Khettarama and the final one at Pallekele. The T20I series, significant in the lead-up to the 2026 T20 World Cup co-hosted by Sri Lanka and India, will take the teams across key venues including Pallekele, Dambulla, and Khettarama. This is Sri Lanka's only home series in 2025 that includes all three formats and could be their last Test action for up to a year. For Bangladesh, it forms one of only two Test series on their calendar for the rest of the year, the other being a non-WTC contest against Ireland. The tour begins with the first Test on June 17 and concludes with the third T20I on July 16.
