New Zealand Cricket has strengthened its commitment to women’s cricket development by appointing Amy Satterthwaite, Craig Peterson, and Sachiko Tsukigawa as regional female pathway leads. The trio will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of female cricketers across the country, focusing on talent identification, player development, and long-term performance pathways.

Former White Ferns captain Amy Satterthwaite brings a wealth of international experience and leadership to the role. Having represented New Zealand at the highest level for over a decade, she is expected to provide invaluable insight into elite performance standards and mentor young players navigating the transition from grassroots to high-performance cricket.

Her appointment reflects New Zealand Cricket’s emphasis on inclusivity and sustainable growth within the women’s game, ensuring opportunities are accessible across diverse regions and backgrounds.

Together, Satterthwaite, Peterson, and Tsukigawa will work closely with regional associations, schools, and coaches to build a clear, supportive pathway for female cricketers.
