Orange and Purple Cap Standings: IPL 2025 Update After DC vs PBKS

Among the others in the top five are Suryakumar Yadav, Mitchell Marsh, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, though Marsh and Jaiswal are done for the season, giving Virat Kohli, currently sixth with 548 runs, a chance to move up. In the Purple Cap standings, Prasidh Krishna (Rajasthan Royals) and Noor Ahmad (Gujarat Titans) are tied at the top with 21 wickets each. Noor will play his final league game on Sunday, while Prasidh has more matches remaining, giving him a longer runway in the race. MI’s Trent Boult follows with 19 wickets, ahead of RCB’s Josh Hazlewood with 18 and KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy with 17. Chakravarthy will also feature on Sunday in KKR’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, providing another opportunity for movement in the top five. With key players from GT, CSK, and KKR still in action, Sunday’s double-header could bring a shake-up at the top of both leaderboards.
