Gujarat Titans’ B Sai Sudharsan continues to hold the Orange Cap with 417 runs from eight matches, averaging 52.12 with a strike rate of 152.18. However, Virat Kohli has surged to second place after scoring his second consecutive half-century—a 70 off 42 balls against RR. He now has 392 runs in nine innings.

Nicholas Pooran of Lucknow Super Giants, who led the charts for a significant stretch earlier in the tournament, has slipped to third. A recent dip in form has left him with 377 runs from nine games.

Mumbai Indians' Suryakumar Yadav, one of the most consistent performers this season, sits at fourth with 373 runs. Despite not posting any massive scores, his string of solid contributions (29, 48, 27*, 67, 28, 40, 26, 68*, 40*) has kept him in the race.

Close behind are Gujarat Titans’ Jos Buttler and RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal, both on 356 runs. While Buttler has played one fewer innings, Jaiswal has found his groove lately, scoring 75, 51, 74, and 49 in his last four outings after a quiet start to the season.

Purple Cap Standings

Gujarat Titans’ Prasidh Krishna continues to top the Purple Cap leaderboard with 16 wickets from eight games. But he's now joined at the top by RCB’s Josh Hazlewood, who claimed 4 for 33 against RR to derail their chase. Hazlewood, however, sits second due to a marginally higher economy rate and bowling average.

Chasing the top two is a group of seven bowlers with 12 wickets each, including:

• Krunal Pandya (RCB) – latest entrant after taking 2 for 31

• R Sai Kishore (GT)

• Mohammed Siraj (GT)

• Noor Ahmad (CSK)

• Kuldeep Yadav (DC) – best economy rate in the group at 6.50

Among them, Kuldeep and Noor Ahmad stand out for their control, with Noor maintaining an impressive 7.66 economy rate.
