Pakistan have announced their 15-member squads for the Women’s Asia Cup and Asian Games, with Fatima Sana returning as captain for both tournaments.
Fatima Sana missed Pakistan’s recent T20I series against Sri Lanka while representing The Hundred, but she will now return to lead the side during a busy international schedule.
Fatima Sana (captain), Ayesha Zafar, Eman Naseer, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza, Momina Riasat, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui (wk), Sadaf Shamas, Nashra Sundhu, Sadia Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani and Waheeda Akhtar.
Najiha Alvi has been replaced by Sadaf Shamas after Alvi was ruled out with an injury.

Several players, including Muneeba Ali, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroza, Saira Jabeen, Eyman Fatima, Eman Naseer, Umm-e-Hani, Tuba Hassan, Nashra Sundhu and Momina Riasat, have been selected for both competitions.
Pakistan have been drawn in Group A alongside India, Hong Kong-China and Thailand. The Women’s Asia Cup will be played from 28 August to 13 September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan will be aiming to make a strong start in the group stage and secure a place in the knockout rounds.
The Asian Games will follow shortly after the Asia Cup, beginning on 17 September in Japan. The medal matches are scheduled for 22 September, with the cricket competition taking place at Korogi Athletic Park in Aichi.
Pakistan have a strong history in women’s cricket at the Asian Games, having won gold medals in 2010 and 2014. They finished fourth in the previous edition in 2022 and will be looking to return to the podium this time around.
With Fatima Sana back at the helm, Pakistan will hope to carry their momentum across both major tournaments.
