BCB Awaits BCCI Confirmation on India’s August Tour of Bangladesh

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Aminul Islam has revealed that the BCCI is yet to confirm India's scheduled tour of Bangladesh in August, pending clearance from the Indian government. Speaking after a board meeting in Dhaka, Aminul described discussions with the BCCI as "positive" and expressed hope that the series would go ahead as planned.

The tour, announced in April, includes three ODIs on August 17, 20, and 23, followed by three T20Is on August 26, 29, and 31, in Mirpur and Chattogram. However, uncertainty has crept in, with the BCCI indicating they would consider an alternative window if August proves unviable. While no official reason has been provided for the delay, Aminul stressed that the Indian board remains "very professional and cooperative" as talks continue.
