Profile

- Shubham Dubey started his IPL career at Rajasthan Royals (RR) when he was acquired for INR 5.8 crore ahead of the 2024 season.

- He had attracted attention after a sparkling Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2023-24. Mostly playing as a finisher for Vidarbha, Dubey smashed 221 runs at an average of 73.66 and a strike rate of 187.28. He was Vidarbha's second-highest run-getter on their way to the quarter-finals.

- Dubey played only four matches for RR in IPL 2024, and he scored 33 runs in three innings. But he began the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on a bright note, clubbing 30 off 14 balls from No. 6 against Odisha. Two days later, RR got Dubey again for IPL 2025 by paying INR 80 lakh.

- Dubey finished the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with 134 runs at an average of 67 and a strike rate of 181.08. He played six matches for RR in IPL 2025, and scored 106 runs at a strike rate of 160.60. Dubey was then retained ahead of IPL 2026 at INR 80 lakh.
