Profile

- Prabhsimran was first picked by PBKS (then Kings XI Punjab) ahead of the 2019 season and was again bought by them at the 2022 auction for INR 60 lakhs.

- The hard-hitting opener had a breakout IPL season in 2023 with PBKS. His 103 knocked Delhi Capitals out of the tournament.

- He did not have a regular partner at the top of the order in IPL 2024, but did enough to hold on to his spot with strong starts. He finished with 334 runs in 14 matches that season.

- Ahead of the 2025 mega auction, Prabhsimran was just one of two players - Shashank Singh was the other - retained by PBKS, for INR 4 crore. He repaid the team's faith in him by making 549 runs and forming a formidable opening combination with Priyansh Arya
