Profile

- The right-arm seamer from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh took up cricket seriously since his father did not want him to go into farming like the rest of his family members. A runner-up at the 2020 U19 World Cup, Tyagi was picked up on potential by Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2020, and played ten games in his inaugural season.

- In IPL 2021, Tyagi got only four games for RR, but one of them was against Punjab Kings. In that game, he successfully defended four runs in the 20th over to earn RR an improbable two-run victory by nailing his wide yorkers.

- Released ahead of IPL 2022, he was picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 4 crore, but played only five games across the next two seasons, bowling only 14 overs. For IPL 2024, Tyagi moved to Gujarat Titans for INR 60 lakh but got just one game all season.

- Unsold in the IPL 2025 auction, Tyagi once again found a team in 2026 when Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for INR 30 lakh.
